Heather Peart, D.V.M.
I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine in 2018. Over the years in vet school, and as a CVT, I found a passion for dentistry, client education, and TCVM (Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine). During my last two years of vet school I enrolled in the Chi Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine, where I received my certification in mixed animal acupuncture. I look forward to making this alternative treatment available to the patients at CCVC.
Outside of work, I can often be found riding my horse, hiking, canoeing, spending time in the garden, or traveling. I have two sons–my oldest is in the US Air Force, and my youngest is attending college at UW-Stevens Point.
I have enjoyed many pets over the years including dogs, cats, rabbits, pocket pets and horses. For now, I share my home with my dog, Bowie, and my cats, Ascheron, Zephyr and Furiosa, while my horse, Bandit, lives on my friend’s farm with her horses and our many chickens.
